1985 Burro Camper Wide Body 17 foot with title 3,000
This rare and larger version of the very popular 13 foot Burro is something of a project. I have had it for eight years and camped init throughout. Every year I improved it a little, intending to do more each time. But my effort is no longer up to the task. For a good set of bones, someone with tools, a place to work, time and desire could have a great camper. It is an ideal canvas to create your own vision.
It has AC 15 Amps shore with and DC12 volt battery power. The ONLY appliance that works is the small refrigerator cold on AC. The 3500 lb. axle, electric brakes and 14 inch tires were added in 2014. Some interior lights and all running lights with 7 pin connecter are LED. The newer MaxiFan with rain proof cover wiring incomplete and shelving were added in 2016.
What I thought I could do and yet needs to be done:
propane system replaced and other appliances serviced or replaced
windows pulled, cleaned and re bedded with butyl rubber
door shored up
roof air conditioning replaced or removed it is on supported bracket and does not blow cold
water pump repaired has small freshwater tank and gray water tank under the sink
tires replaced due to age and spare mounted
some floor patched or replaced.
Beware of Scams
