Black Tank: 15 gallons
Grey Tank: 5 gallons external

We have replaced or refurbished all major components. There are a few things left to do, nothing too major but we are selling it as is. We put a lot of time and effort into the refurbishing and now it's time to move on to a larger trailer.

There are a few things left that should be completed in the way of completing the refurbishment, but this trailer is ready to go camping now. The trailer is located in Murrieta/Temecula, CA approximately one 1 hour North of San Diego. A clean title is in possession, and we are listing this trailer at 11,500.00 or best offer. The trailer is very clean and ready to show.

  • Replaced the OSB subfloor with Hydratek marine grade plywood
  • New vinyl plank flooring Beachwood color
  • Replaced the original vent with a MaxxAir fan with the integrated cover Can operate in the rain or inclement weather
  • Replaced OEM water heater with a gas/electric suburban model with an internally located gas igniter
  • New power converter
  • New water pump
  • 30 amp electric connector has been installed
  • Replaced 90 of all OEM plumbing lines with new PEX lines and shark bite fittings
  • Replaced OEM single propane valve/tank with a new dual manifold system
  • Replaced OEM rear stabilizers with BAL single arm stabilizers
  • Virtually new Goodyear Endurance "D" load rated tires
  • OEM high lift axle
  • Replaced OSB plywood with marine grade plywood in the upper bunk

Though nearly all of the toughest items have been completed, the following are areas that should be attended to:

  • Main side windows need to be resealed with butyl tape remove/replace
  • Our Casita was used as a full time bed. If you intend to use the Casita with a dining table, you will need to install the table base and leg either single or double legs
  • The closet door has been removed We have a door, but it would need to be completed, installed with hinges, and painted, stained, or coated as you see fit
  • The 1.7 cubic foot Domestic refrigerator will run on electric only someone with knowledge and the skills/tools can either repair, replace, or remove the refrigerator, however, it has always worked for us as we have stayed in campgrounds with full hookups
  • The awning is original but has lost much of its spring retraction capabilities but it s in REALLY good condition with all original legs in place

We have fond memories of camping with our children when they were young and now our needs are changing. Please send a direct message if interested. We will list this trailer on multiple forums.

Hi! I live in Ontario CA about 45 minutes from your area. I would like to find out more about your 16 Casita and maybe come and see it. A few questions I have are how the frame and bearing? any leaks, beside the window mention. Title is it clear and in your name? Please feel free to call or text just let me know who you are and address if we can set up a time to see it. I am new to this site I am not sure how to send a private message. So I took my cell phone off.

Thank you and hope to see your Casita!

Melody
