1998 SCAMP
I have had the Scamp just about four years and have enjoyed it immensely. In 2017, I took it on my bucket list trip from Kansas to Oregon, Washington, back up through Montana, and Colorado before coming home, almost 4,000 miles. Pulled it with my 2015 Subaru Forester with no problem and maintained a steady 40mph on some pretty steep grades. Since I've had the Scamp, I have replaced the battery, replaced all three tires 2017 , installed a new AC 2018 , put in a new converter this month 5/19 , and had the 12volt electrical system checked. My Scamp is clean, never smoked in, and ready to roll. It has four stabilizer jacks, one at each corner and a covered box that houses the battery and other items. Inside as pictures show , there is a full size refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a two burner stove, a wet bath, a closet and plenty of storage. There is a grey and a black water tank as well as a fresh water tank for dry camping. It has electric brakes and two propane tanks. I replaced the caps on some of the outside rivets that had fallen off over the years. The frig works on electricity or gas. Microwave and all plugs work. All 12 volt systems work heater, water pump, water heater. I have tested all the systems, and they run well. So, overall the Scamp is, in my humble opinion, in tip top shape.
