What a shame you put so much work into it. Someone will be getting a very nice trailer.

Posted by Radar1 (3 months ago)

You have a beautiful Scamp. I've always enjoyed viewing Peter's posts, and getting ideas for if I ever got the Scamp fifth wheel. Hope all is well!

Posted by peterh (3 months ago)

Thanks Steve and Radar. We really enjoyed our Scamp, and I will be sad to see it go, but we have a Surfside 14.5 project trailer that is nearing completion, and it is beautiful too. And, since we plan to go camping together, having a second trailer doesn't make a lot of sense anyway! We are looking forward to camping and going on adventures with our newly updated Surfside. It has two comfy-chair style upholstered seats at a permanent front Dinette, a permanent full-size bed, a nice functional kitchen, instant hot water, refrigerator, solar panels and pretty much everything we really liked having in our Scamp, just in a smaller package. You could think of it as 2ft-itis in reverse! So, we'll see you in campgrounds all around North America with our fancy, though smaller, Surfside project trailer soon!
