We have a 1981 13' Burro fiberglass trailer for sale. If you would like to learn about them, here is a really nice website on the history and build of the trailer at gateway couple but they won't let me link to it sorry
Some basics weight about 1,150 lbs empty so it can be towed by just about any car with a trailer hitch. It has double walled fiberglass shells with fiberglass insulation between the exterior and interior shells and the interior and exterior have gloss finishes. It can sleep 4 but we removed the bunk bed in front so this one sleeps two. It has a sink, built in cooler, and 2 burner stove. On the tongue is a 20 lb propane tank and a type 24 deep cycle battery. It has a fresh water tank and a small tank for storage of gray water.
Recent upgrades include:
Solar
New axle
Latex foam cushions and cushion covers
Curtains
Carpeting
New battery
Electric water pump on off switch
Aluminum sandwich ultra light weight hatch and bed support panels
Door latch and lock
Hinges mounts on trailer rebuilt with epoxy for long term durability
Fantastic fan raised for additional head room inside
Wiring recently double checked
Thetford cassette toilet
Closet converted to shelf storage
Shelving installed in over and under sink storage
The exterior shell is in good condition and still water tight. There are remnants of a wax treatment done a few years back. If cleaned up, it would love a coat of paint to make it sparkle. There is a guy on eBay selling new Burro logo stickers, too search Burro trailer . The seam between the left and right shell sections has a cover that has been acquired but not installed. The tires are serviceable but should likely be replaced soon.
We used it for several trips and then upgraded to an Airstream so sold it to a family member. They no longer need it so we are selling it for them.
