1982 Trillium 5500 is an 18 ft trailer, dry weight with battery and one LP bottle is 2450 lbs with tongue weight of 250lbs. It has been owned by us and my brother since 1988. We completed an extensive renovation last year including:
Windows removed, seals replaced and windows reinstalled with butyl tape.
New vinyl flooring
refaced interior with 1/8 luan plywood stained and coated with 3 coats of polyurethane
new 16000 btu furnace
new 2 burner cooktop
all water lines replace with PEX
new 30 gallon fresh water tank moved to front to balance weight on rear bike rack or under rear dinette storage
primed and painted ensolite
new pleated shades on all windows except bath/mini blind on kitchen window
primed and painted entire frame
Prior to that within the last 6 years we have:
recovered seats
installed new 3cu ft 3 way refrigerator
installed new 110 to 12vdc converter/battery charger
deep cycle battery
replaced all light fixtures with led lights inside and exterior marker lights original tail lights
Since we originally purchased the trailer, we removed the toilet and have used a portable toilet. We installed a 32 gallon grey tank connected to shower, kitchen and bath sinks.
The rear bed measures 50w x 87l. Front dinette makes into 45w x 75l bed and seats 4. Front table is on a slide for easy access to the seating. Interior height is 75
